Pros and Cons of no rear sway bar

I want to take my rear sway bar off but my mom is concerned that since im a new driver, this will be unsafe.
what do yall think? from what ive read its not that harmful to the onroad performance... is this the case in yalls experience?

You'll barely notice a difference. Take it off and assure your Mom that this is a very common modification. You'll get a lot more flex. Many people have done this to Cherokees with no detriment to the handling.

yea im in the tile union and i drive all over nj on highways etc, i took my rear swaybar off and have not notice any ride difference other then my xj flexing awesome.

No sway bar needed in the rear. From what I understand some models didnt even have them from the factory. I took mine off and the ride got smoother over road bumps. Body roll did not change at all. And your Jeep can get rid of a nice 10 pounds of crap.
