Anybody know how to take one of these connectors all the way apart?

 

It's referred to as a Delphi Weather Pack connector.

Does anybody know how to take this one apart?

 

You need a pin removal tool. It's a small tube you push into the connector to release the barbs that hold the pin. Then pull the wire and the pin comes out.

 

I cut it off and replaced it with one from a junkyard Grand Cherokee (1993 I think). Finding a junkyard Jeep, or anything with an ignition coil is difficult. I found a Dodge Shadow that had the connector too. Only two in the yard that I found.

That connector is now made by Standard, S-727, and it is a pill-through type. No repinning option.
The issue was the lock was broken off, has been for years, letting the connection get weak. I suspect that I've spent hundreds of dollars "fixing" stuff while this was the real problem.
