Default Passenger rear door doesn’t power lock

I just got a new 99 Xj and everything works great... except the rear passenger door lock. If I use it manually it works fine but the power lock doesn’t effect it. The manual lock feels a bit stiffer than the rest. Everything I have been able to find is about all of them not working but this is really the only problem. Any ideas? Thanks

Spray with brake cleaner to clean the moving parts and holding parts, then lubricate them with a spray or motor oil. Your description seems to be a gunked issue. If you worry about paint loss at all, then don't use brake cleaner. I haven't experienced a loss, but I only use it on my old vehicles in places like door jams where no one would see.

Does the manual rocker twitch at all when you operate the power lock? All of my locks were gunked up as gat described but all twitched around so I knew they were all getting a signal.

I haven't checked that out yet. Ill give a better look through tomorrow. Thank you! So for you all it took was pulling the door panel and giving it a good cleaning?

Basically yes. Once cleaned up, to give the solenoid less stress use the manual rocker to go back and forth to help free it up, when that feels nice and free like the rest, give the electric a go.
