Passenger rear door won't lock

Passenger rear door won't lock
I have a 2000 grand cherokee. The manual door lock won't budge on the rear passenger door and the keypad won't lock or unlock that door. I hate to take it to a dealership if i could fix it my self. Any suggestions?
