overhead console install
So I have a OHC from a 92 that I have as donor jeep and got the complete harness but I don't know if my wife hate will make it PNP I have a 90 xj and have been having hard time finding the harnes. In my 90 xj to fit my 92 power doors harness

It all depends if you want the ohc to display correctly or if you just want the map lights and compass and temp.
As for being pnp I don't think so but can be wrong.
Your going to have to tap from the dome light power circuit as it always has power. Figure out which wire are for that circuit, power and ground on the ohc.
As for the display I haven't seen one but was told that all the wires are black for the older models. The newer are color coded. I think you may have to look up the wiring diagram from like a caravan as they use a very similar ohc. Or if you don't care for the display and only want temp and compass I suggest getting a gentex mirror from a 97+ GM pickup, suv etc some other GM cars also have this feature along with map lights on the mirror.

I wired the dome lights into the original wiring, then just hooked up the display with 12v+ switched power, a ground and then installed the temp sensor. Works just fine!
