Overdrive

Ben I put my jeep into overdrive from regular drive it revs up by like 2 or 3 hundred rpm for about 30 seconds than goes into o.d. It does this about half the time. Should I be worried about anything?

I found only one part, which works only for OD. Get FSM and read AT chapter until you understand how everything works. good luck.

The 2-300 RPM increase is probably your TCC unlocking. Have you noticed any other faults that might point to a failing NSS? Does Overdrive operate normally if you leave the shifter in "D"?
