I am getting conflicting part numbers when searching for an ail pressure sending unit for a 1997 XJ. I want a Mopar unit. I also read that an Omix unit is the same as Mopar, not sure about that at this point.

 

Do you have a light or a gauge?

This is what I've come up with if a light:

that says for a diesel engine doesn't it???????

 

Below Diesel it also says 2.5L & 4.0L with no additional part numbers so I'd say it looks like they share the same sender.

 

The 97-98 parts catalog shows part # 56031003 for 2.5L, diesel, and 4.0L, for 1997. There is no mention of a light or gauge, so i assume it works for both.

For 1998, it shows part # 56031005 for 2.5L and 4.0L. And part # 56041506AA for diesel.
