Default oil pan gasket

anyone ever have a problem with the gasket tearing were it meets the block and bearing cap ?i changed my rear main and iv had 2 gaskets tear on me when installing the oil pan .

useing felpro silicone gasket or cork

felpro silicone gasket ,i doesn't seem to fit very well on the pan ,almost seems like the pan is warped

didnt it come with the insert that screw into block and hold gasket to motor

nope only thing in the box was the gasket and a piece of paper. i dont wont to wreck another one

go det some contact cement the yellow stuff all surface must be clean and stick gasket to pan sticking bolts in the holes untill you get it stuck all the way around remove bolts and slowly raise into place dont use a **** load of it just thin coat it sticks quick and good so make sure it right

so did what u said and worked grate ,gasket didnt move but fire the jeep up and the thing was leaking soo drained the oil and drooped the oil pan to fined the gasket still intact,but after closer inspection i found a small cut at the edge of the last bolt hole under the bearing cap .it was cut right in the middle of so the only sharp edge i could find was on the bearing cap.so im guessing thats what caused it
