Default Oil Pan

How hard is it to replace the oil pan gasket on a 94 jeep cherokee?
Mine seems to have a little leak.
What steps/how to do it?
Thanks

Not that hard. Hardest part is getting it up off the ground enough to work...

You sure it's the oil pan and not the more common rear main seal leak? Cause I would hate for you to pull the pan twice. And the rear main is not as easy

The rear main seal is easy, look up 4.0 rearmain seal on YouTube.

The rear main is the easy part. Just get a brass punch to tap through top half out. Getting the pan off is the *****. I would suggest go on jegs and get some oil pan snaps to reinstall the pan. Basically its a few plastic studs you thread into the block, slide the gasket and then the pan on, get a few bolts in, and then take the snaps off. It will make your life way easier. If you're gonna replace the pan gasket you might as well do the rear main as well. Retorque the main cap bolts to 80 ft/lbs.
