Hey cool! As far as I know you and I are the only "verified" cases of that seeking idle being the 02 sensor. Looks like Christmas morning in your garage!
As far as the dieing, it's so supper easy to check the CPS. You just put your meter straight to it set on AC volts and crank it. Course maybe all that new stuff will help, keep us posted!

First thing I'll do is check cps. I'll do that while/after I put my new goodies on! It should start much better after that

That sounds more like bad tune-up hardware or a TPS with a bad spot in it on the engine side.

Well my tps was adjusted to .001 of what it was supposed to be so dang near perfect
I also replaced it when I did that

Bosch, not botch, although botch is probably a better name!! LOL. NGKs. Get a set in there and return/****can the Boschs before proceding down any rabbit trails.

You'll be fine doing that. I heard Champions are being made in china now by Wunhung Lo and his associates. I prefer NGK. Used them since the early 70s with excellent results.
