Hahahahahah good one!
Well update, this jeep in my DD. So when it died today and diddnt strt back up, I was concerned
It just died like normal, but will not restart, it tries to and sounds normal but just won't start.
I still need to check cps and do my distributor, my cap, my wires and plugs and rotor
Will see if that fixes anything

Got my distributor, my cap plugs wires and rotor on the other day. Jeep hasn't died since! I'm testing cps tomarow morning just in case for good measure
Hey flinstone, you said you heard a rumble, Iv noticed it and I think it's gotten worse
I already made sure my idler pully was tight. I really hope my flex plate isn't cracked and it's just loose. I'll check that tomarrow as well. Do you have any other suggestions for the "rumble"?
Thanks

Jeep was dying again today
So I got under it with a flashlight and found that my exhaust burned my cps wire

A trick to soldering wires, slide the shrink-wrap up the wire first. (even two sizes), than after soldered, slide them back and apply heat to shrink.
Change a CPS. A jack-stand under the left frame might be in your way. BACKING onto ramps is an option. Sometimes when I lift a vehicle, I see if I can push it off it's “lift” before I go underneath. You lay on your back with your feet out under the passenger side. With your LEFT hand you can reach up past the front drive-line to hold the CPS. (if your forearm is smaller than a quart mason jar)(if not maybe pull the drive-line). You want 11mm. or 7/16 socket, > 3 inch extension,> swivel,> then 18 to 24 inches of extension to your RIGHT hand , down on the ratchet by the tranny cross member. If there is a plastic deal there, can it. DON'T drop a bolt in there! (just don't!!!). When you are starting out, if you tie a long string, 5ive feet, to the old plug, you can then use that to haul the new one back up.
If your wires go through a metal band secured by an engine to bell housing bolt, cut them. To finish, zip tie, or make darn sure the wires won't rub/chafe or burn on anything. The second one is a relative piece if cake! (½ hr job!)

I haven't even got the bolts off yet haha I was just putting my socket and extensions on there and had to re adjust so I pulled my ratchet down and my socket popped off and headed a metalic sound coining from there. I'm guessing it got jammed between the plastic and bell housing so when I pulled my ratchet, off it popped

We're you talking about the little plastic flap right next to the cps on the tranny? Cause I think I just lost my 11mm socket down there
