odd botton?

Default odd botton?

I have this botton above the hood release leaver inside the cab.. what does it do? I don't notice a diffference when driving if I push the botton. anyone know?

Without seeing the actual button, this is my best guess.

A picture really would help. I'm just thinking off the top of my head. More then likely it's the valet button for the alarm system.

Most likely a kill switch IMO. Have you tried to trace where the wires go?

But really... dont press it. You definitely dont want your tire studs deploy unless youre on soft ground.

Really Yoda we're just jacking with ya. Nothing came on the Jeep Cherokee that activated with a red button. It's obviously something aftermarket but my best guess would be something that's no longer hooked up like an alarm or theft proof starting system or somethin to that degree. I'd pull that panel off and figure out where the hell it goes
