I am looking for a t-case for my 89 Lerado. The junkyard said that 11-1988 and older have a different input shaft. Is it the spline count that is different? Thus costing more? Or what? I found a parts rig for $250 with correct tcase, but am not sure how I know if the part is correct. Also are there different ratios for tcases? I have the tow package if it matters. Thanks
ps. the parts jeep is an 89 limited.

Jeep used two different sized output shafts, and thus a different spline count. there is a 21 and 23 spline count. They started in 84 with 23 and then later went to 21 and then back to 23. Kind of confusing. Advance Adapters is a good source to call for info on which model had what. Good luck
