np242 yolk issue
Buddy recently snapped a UJoint and broke the bolts on the ubolts, he's got the 242, I have the 231. When I greased the slipyolk and I changes the ujoints, the splined shaft slid right out of the housing. His is stuck in there pretty damn tight, is this normal? Were about to take the housing off the tcase, but I feel as if that's not nessessary.. should it just be slipping out like mine did? Maybe he has a suction issue? What's going on here should we tug the shaft out or remove the housing?

Pretty vague in my opinion. What year is his Jeep? What exactly are you asking?

If you are talking about removing the drive shaft... the yoke side should slip off with a small amount of resistance. It may be the cause of the U joint failure.
The yoke may either be seized on there from rust or from damaged splines. Try penetrating lube and a mallet.... don't pry you will likely damage the seal.
