I have a 1991 Cherokee Laredo and I just rebuilt the 4.0 engine and put it back in. I replaced all the spark wires and cap and rotor and now it has spark but to fuel. The fuel injectors work because i tested them and all of the wires going to and from the injectors are good. I took off the rail and tried starting it to see if fuel would come out and they aren’t even clicking. Anything I’m missing?

Did you check fuses?

So no fuel?

I would check the fuel pressure in the rail.

Do you hear the fuel pump turning on when you turn the key?

Check to see if your camshaft position sensor (CMP) got hooked up.

Doubtful. Look and see if you accidentally unplugged the fuel pump ballast resistor in your procedure.

Your going to need to test the pressure, with a pressure gauge.

Have you ever thought about ever changing your fuel filter?

The computer/ecm should be the last thing on your mind to replace. When you have exhausted all other resources.
