Default No start - fuel not getting into engine

So I have an '88 Jeep Cherokee Chief that will not start. The fuel pump is pushing the gas with good pressure but it just won't start. The mechanic recently replaced a part, I think it was the idle governor or something like that. That fixed the weird idling for a month but now it won't start.

The last time it did start, it cranked good and wouldn't turn over, but I pumped the gas, then it fired right up. This time pumping the gas didn't work. It's like the gas is making it out of the fuel pump but not quite into the engine.

Any ideas on how to proceed?

Thank you!
Robert
