SO, I just went out to my jeep and it wouldn't start.
I can hear the fuel pump engaging and the engine cranks and almost catches, sputters for a few secs and dies.
CPS maybe? What other things could cause this??

It's a new fuel pump, already drove 60+ miles on it with no problems.
Starter is a few months old (but it cranks fine, just no start)
Plugs, coil, dizzy all that stuff is new.
I just did a tune up a month ago with just around the town driving so it's not any of that stuff.

I would get in there and test your CPS. It could for sure be responsible for your crank-no-start troubles, especially since you've recently replaced most everything else that could be a likely cause.
Out of curiosity, what brand fuel pump did you install?

Also, an audible fuel pump is no guarantee that it's delivering enough fuel pressure to squirt through the injectors, you might want to check pressure at the rail.

Ok just tested the CPS, resistance was fine (0.0 Ohms) but when I checked the ACV on crank I got .2
From what I read on here about testing CPSs, mines fried. Correct?

Ok got the new sensor, but, HOW THE HELL do I get it off?! I can't get anything up there with enough space to turn!
Would a universal joint work, if so what size?

The sensor in the distributor doesn't keep a Renix Jeep from starting like the later models. You can unplug the dizzy on a Renix and it will run.
