well, as the title states, I have figured out that my truck is getting no spark. I was just wondering if there is anything besides a bad coil that could cause this, and how I can check for it, I searched for threads but got nothing useful, any help is apreiciated...

Have you checked to see if gettin a spark out of coil? if its sparkin of the coil then i would check distributor, Plug Wires, Plugs. if no spark from coil could be CPS. im sure there is other stuff i not said but im not the best as far as ignition stuff goes

yes I checked, and no spark from coil...I was just reading another thread about not starting too...hopefully that will shed some light on things
the most common problem is the crank position sensor. but it could also be a pick up coil or bad ecm if no spark from coil. the easiest way I know of checking the coil is to use a test light and the + wire on the coil should have constant power and the - side, the test light should blink when turning the engine over. if it blinks, then the coil is bad...if it doesnt, then the problem will be something else. I think some part stores can check the crank sensor and pick up coil. the crank sensor aint too bad to replace, but I have never replaced a pick up coil yet......
