Wow, 7 pages of not talkin about Renix.
Can hardly wait to take the grandchildren out wheelin one day in 2025 and boring them with a lecture of the 2 million km Renix under the hood.
In perfect hindsight I should have purchased that oil well from Uncle Jed back in 62.

"Yeah, might make it a little less enticing to someone trying to steal it if the hotwiring-wires aren't visible"
"Oh I don't know about that. I think the stick shift and 24"x18" hole in the floor where the passenger seat should be is better"

In fairness to the OP, you DO actually need a brain, and a dvm to use a Renix Jeep. I have even thought of contacting some local shops so they might "tap" the "secret" info. Excellent system, better than OBDI, in my opinion. Not because of the "nag light", but the Knock sensor. A big deal that. You want as much advance as you can, and the newer can't do that.
The Renix ECU will keep advancing the timing, until the knock sensor tells it to knock it off. OBD doesn't have that feature. No small deal as the optimum advance is crucial to power and mileage.
I recently logged 24 MPG on a 600 mile trip, with 270K on the odometer. (yes, corrected 5% for the 235's)

I'm also too used to doing my own thinking anyhow. Cut my teeth on old Delco stuff - pre-HEI - on old F-bodies and Corvettes...

, (not like I don't already do that anyways, with my old lady shaking her head and snickering). This also has to be one of the most entertaining threads on here in a while
