No fuel or spark.... losing hope.
hi i have 1998 jeep cherokee. this is my second jeep and ive had this one for close to 3 years. about 8 months ago i took out the motor and just replaced its with one form a 95 with 80000 on it. i used my intake and exhaust from my 98. i hooked up all my cables and connectors corectly my fuses arent blown and it cranks over. i have no fuel pressure in the line and i am getting no ground. ive checked my grounds and checked my fuel pump and cps. as well my fuel and amp gauges wont work did the trip test and all my guages work. ive seen this issue before on this forum but with no solutions. can some help me figure this one out it would be greatly appreciated. i want my jeep on the trails again where she belongs and not in a jy.

If there is no fuel at the line that means your pump isn't kicking on when you turn the key. Could be a bad fuel pump relay which would keep your pump from turning on but that still doesn't solve your no spark problem.

i am using my 98 computer. i switched over all of my sensors so the comp shouldnt be an isssue. ive checked my relays on the fuel pump and even the asd (auto shut down) still very confused on this issue.

Does this mean you cannot ground TO your battery or the battery itself??
I did not see a mention of spark...but if you have spark and no fuel...well, she no gonna run.
If you have no fuel pressure, its one of three things: Bad relay (easy, cheap, EASY). Or plugged fuel filter (easy...just bypass for now). Or bad pump (somewhat not so easy...but a shot of ether in the intake will tell you whether it WANTS to start...then, if you have joyful noises, you can fix the pump.)
The only other thing I can think of is what dilljeepo said...computer.
