due to christmas funds are very low. i have done some work to it i replaced the cps and that wasnt the issue so i talked to my local jeep mechanic at endangered species and he said i should start by putting my 98 flywheel back on so i have taken that motor back out only took me about an hour. so now its sitting in my garage waiting for a ne flywheel and clutch. and im gonna take this time to compeltely redo my grounds and get a new battery for her. so hopefully i can get it going for winter casue my little tercel isnt cuttin it.

Cool.
It is intensely aggravating to work so hard and get no joy-of-new-engine. I've been there, done that. Hang tough.

I had a similar issue with my 99. Thought it was the pump. Ended up being a crank position sensor that shorted in a way that made the ecm look like it had no ground. Only way to find it was to test each sensor, because they are wired in series I guess.
