yes only the mechanicals are from a95 all the sensors are from the 98 and should not cause an issue. it may be the cps but i just had that replaced b4 the motor swap. my fuel pump only engages just for 1 second. im gonna have to hook it up to a battery to see if will stay on. but why would my volt and fuel gauges not work but when i run the test on them all the gauges function properly.

I have no idea. If it engages for a second you should have fuel pressure at the rail. Unless you have a bad regulator, that would just cause all the fuel to drain back into the tank and not build up pressure. What was wrong with the motor you pulled out of it?

the pump comes on to bring fuel pressure up then shuts off it will not run again untill a demand on it is needed you might of pinched the wire when instaloing its easy to do

It seems like whatever problem you have this guy says its a CPS or pinched wire. You seem to have 2 problems that are unrelated. Did switch distributors over? If you didn't the distributor on the motor you put in could be bad. You could have a bad coil. Bad ignition pick up.

im not saying its that but all the sensors are off amotor that ran b4, the only thing he changed is the motor and guess where the sensor is ,between the block and the bell housing. but if you listen to this guy you will replace every sensor and sooner or later you will get it to run hey maybe the timing chain jumped when he put air in the back tire should he check that also , hes asking for help there is a process of elimination to go thru here to find a prob .

Didn't he say he checked the CPS already? If his CPS was bad he would be getting a code that says it is bad. Turn the ignition key until the digital odometer displays, repeat three times in succession and then back to "On" (On/Off, On/Off, On/Off, On). At the fourth "On" the odometer will be replaced with codes. If no codes are present then "Done" will appear.

So could you explain to me your post where a pinched wire is going to affect his fuel pressure?

yea in the real world if the wire is grounding which impretty sure that how it wors by sensing the notches in the fly wheel and creating a ground signal it wont show up bad
