Default no crank no start, click only

This morning, temp 32deg.
Went to start the jeep, turned the key only a loud click.
Power is good, radio lights, battery gauge reads normal.

Starter replaced 5 months ago by the dealer.....

25 mins later attempt to start and it works fine.

Ideas?

Clean all grounds.
Inspect battery cables and replace as necessary.

^This. Also check the wires to your starter. Also if it happens again try starting it in neutral, if it fires right up your NSS (neutral safety switch) likely needs a good cleaning.

a corroded connection can pas a very small amount of current much easier than the amount needed to crank a 32 degree cold 4-0 over.

As mentioned, clean BOTH battery posts and battery cables first (until shiny) but if that doesn't work, take your battery into any parts store where they will load test it for free.

It's likely one or other. If the neutral safety switch is faulty, you won't even get a click.

Exactly what he said. You might be getting power, but not enough to crank the engine over.
