No crank no start
Hi im new to the whole jeep community and just got a 1989 jeep cherokee and having problems with it ran fine a couple days ago when got it broke down yesterday got new starter relay new battery cables and stil can figure it out idk what it could be been looking and messing with wires and little things like fuses and cant figure it out any help would be appreciated thank you

Does the vehicle have an alarm system?
Have you checked the NSS (neutral safety switch)? If it's bad, replace it with a QUALITY part. I prefer Mopar.
Is the battery FULLY CHARGED?
Battery connections tight?
Are you getting a signal from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid when you attempt to crank the engine?

Year: 98, 00, 01 and another 01
Model: Cherokee
Engine: both 01 jeeps have viper coil pack
try to start it in neutral. Get starter tested. Drove my son's jeep into the garage once to change the oil. Changed the oil and it would not start. Problem was starter.
Tried starting in neutral and still nothing was it a no crank no start? And do u know if the starter could be bad and still be able to physically arch it?
