Ok i dont know why the link is dead because the auction has 3 days left but here is the item description.

"This auction is for a Dana 30 open differential with a 4.56 ratio ring gear. This diff was removed from a real clean Jeep Wrangler 4 cylinder. These parts have acceptionaly low mileage and are vary hard to find in this condition. It was replaced with 4.56 ratio gears and an Auburn limited slip to help out in the mud. These parts were safely removed and properly stored. They will also be properly packaged to ensure safe shipping to yur door. This ratio for this vehicle is sometimes rare. It will mean more torque and gas mileage for one lucky shopper. They make an inexpensive repair, or a reliable spare set for the heavy off-roader. Dont miss out on factory Dana Spicer quality at this price. Thanks for looking."

He is asking $85 for it so if it will work is it worth it or can i find a cheaper gear set?

Gas Mileage? With a 4.56? Not in anything I've owned with 4.56's.

4.56's will eliminate the remote option of highway usage. It would be a great gear for a crawler, or off roader, but has no place in a street driven truck, unless you have 44" Boggers...

4.56 is realy low for normal sized tire but if you want an offfroad rig with good crawling abilitie thats a great deal just dont forget you will need to get gears for your other axle to match.

Those carriers sell new for 50-60 bucks. BTW I have 4.56s and 35s and get 16-18 mpg.

sacreligion. Low pinion = less ground clearance and worse angle on your driveshaft.
