I just bought a used 93 cherokee with a 3.5" lift on it and plan on redoing alot of the front end. Since this is my first solid front end and first jeep I've got some questions. The guy I bought it from said it had a case of the wobbles. I haven't had them yet but as wore out as the tie rod ends are and the bushings in the tracking arm I can see why. That being said is the tracking arm on here factory? I was going to go with heavy duty hard kor one but if I can just try the bushings first it might save me some money.

The Tie Rod ends seem pretty self explanatory, now the front U-joints on the other hand. Are they the same that are used in the drive shafts? Also what else should I get when I pull the axles to do the U joints? In other words what is likeley to break/tear and be needed?

I figure since I've got everything apart I might as well do the ball joints too. I've done them before in my Dodge truck, I'm assuming it is pretty much the same for the jeep?

What is the front diff cover running into/scraping against?
On the axle u-joints they are a seperate part number. Check runout on the hubs before dissassembly, may need unit bearings as well.
