thanks everyone! i want to take a survey here now! haha if you check out the first and third picture you see my new air intake has a piece of steel pipe in the middle. well this works great for air flow but it rests on my engine head and absorbs heat like a **** and heats up the air which completely ruins that its a cold air intake design...SO what can i wrap it in to keep heat out and keep the air cool that wont melt or catch fire on my head???

I have the same issue with my door locks/windows. If I position my door just right, or squeeze the rubber boot in the right spot, it will work.
