Default Never bought tires before

I need to buy a set of 5 tires for the Jeep, because the guy that had it before me put 5 different tires on. Not a single one matches another. I wanted to get Cragars, but I don't know how everything fits, or how to order them. Would these..

fit with these?

http://www.quadratec.com/products/92612_1XX_PG.htm

What sizes would I have to get for them to fit each other. I do not have a lift yet either.

i think that combo should work together. try looking around other places for those tires, might find them cheaper somewhere else. in my experience you can spend some time searchin and find stuff for cheaper than what qtec charges.

There are plenty of tire/wheel dealers out there. You don't need to pay freight on this stuff.

Just go get them in person.

i would def. go through a local tire store...so you can get like a warranty on them and whatever...and so they can balance them for you and so on and so forth...but what size of rims were you gonna get? i would get 15X8

What you just asked, is the whole point of this thread. I don't know what sizes go together. All I know is I can't go bigger than 29's stock without rubbing, and the pattern.

Well with very minor trimming, you can run 30x9.5's EASILY without lifting. I know this because I ran the same setup before I got lifted. I barely rubbed if any at all. And the best part is, if you run a 30x9.5 MT while you're lifted it doesn't look as bad as 235/75/15s.

i would get 15x8's cuz your factory ones if i am correct are 15x7......so if you decide someday to jack it up bigger and u can still use 15x8's for some much bigger tires..not sure how big you can go on 15x8's though...but i would go 15x8's for your situation.

and as far as tires go man...idk..if you dont wanna mess with any chance of it rubbin i would go with 235/75/15's but however ppl do claim like above..that you can run 30's with no lift......i wouldnt go with 30's unless you are puttin a 1.5-2" lift on man....jus isnt worth to ruin tires and rub...jus my 2 cents

alll the local tire stores around me wanted to charge me way too much for tires, almost twice as much, i got my 33x10.50x15 for $650 shipped to my front door step, 4wheelparts.com has good deals alot, look for sales, they usually discount their tires and discount their shipping

30x9:50x15's will fit nicely on stock 15x7" rims and look much better than 235x75R15's. That said 30x950x15's also fit nicely on 15x8" rims and leave room to grow. A 3 1/2" back spacing on the wheels will elimate rubbing and provide room to grow also.

The tire Rack is a good online outlet to buy tires and wheels from and will ship the tires mounted and balanced ready to bolt onto your Jeep. If your local dealers are bandits.

If you drive mostly on the street with limited off-road use an all terrain (A/T) tread pattern is called for especially if snow is possible.

I personally use BFG A/T's but Goodyear MT/R's are very good also. Cheaper very decent tires are Cooper Discovery;s.

Hope this helps. There are a lot of very good tires available. The ones I mentioned are very well thought of by Jeeper's. RB
