neg. battery cable seized to engine post
Replacing battery cables after + cable arc while changing oil. - cable & others attached are corroded/seized to engine dipstick post. Post seems like it'll come out of block, should i cut wires/replace terminals? Other options?

Remove the stud (that's what it is,) then remove the wires from it. When you reinstall, put a flat washer under the rings against the block, and another atop the rings under the nut. This will help keep it from happening again.

The ring terminals are seized to stud. Cut old - batt cable, pb blasted rings for overnight soak. If I can't get them loose, probably gonna clip & solder new rings on. Already got new 4awg cables from NAPA, replaced braid @ firewall-block w/ 4awg firewall-fuel rail bolt like u suggested in other posts. Gotta head back to store tomorrow to grab more dielectric grease & ring terminals, so I'll pick up some washers, too. Thx!
