Hey guys, I'm kind of between a rock and a hard place. On my way to Scottsdale, Arizona last night and my front differential shot crap. Pulled over and Had to get it towed...Brought some tools but not enough to do any of that kind of work (vaca). I'm stuck in a small town as I have a shop look it over. My options are limited here. What could I expect money wise to have it fixed? Should I tow to scottsdale and have a shop look through junkyard? Any input helps.

Sounded similar to putting a ball in a dryer ha. Didn't lock up. I was just able to look at it today FINALLY and just noticed 3 of 5 studs on my front passenger side wheel broke off. (Bout lost a wheel) wondering if that could throw everything out of whack?

im wondering how the hell that would happen. Were you wheeling. or pushing it hard. Have you opened up the diff?

Neither. Just driving down the highway. Was 1000 miles out of town and BAM. Getting the differential opened right now.

It could have just been the wheel flapping. Jack it up, get the wheels off and see if everything rotates like it should. If you're lucky, you'll just have to replace some wheel studs.

😂😂 good laugh for not so fun time. Looking like it's gonna be easier fix then originally looked at 2 am. Had some bolts snap off a wheel. And pinion seal was leaking.

Sounds like you got lucky, the lug nuts are one of those often forgotten things to check on a regular basis.
