well i know why i have two black wires. they cut the ground that was connected to the plug. so now i dont know what one was free in the beginning. and i ripped out that red wiring the po put in. i think i might have some nice speakers in here already, theyre dual illuminite ts55's. they look cool ha

Cap the ends run a new ground wire and check to see if that works it should

I just installed a head unit into my 2000 XJ. Front stage stopped working. I just ran two new lines to the speakers, and am all set now until I upgrade the front stage.

If you cant locate a ground...just make one.

how do i do that? should i use certain wire or can i use any kind? im going to try again tomorrow to get it working but i still havent figured out which wires connect to what color yet. im new to this so bear with me ha.

did you look at the link i sent you and best would be 16 gauge black stranded copper wire
