Default need help with this part ASAP

I took apart the dash to get to the opening of the fresh air vent to fix the cowl leak and I supplied pics of the piece that is that was kept together by the band and can get it back together and help would be great

I don't think anyone can help you physically over the internet. That's why no one has replied. You've had 81 views.

You might need to take it to a local mechanic or dealership and pay to have it fixed. You're not the first do-it-yourselfer to get into a jam.

What are you having a hard time with? From the pics it looks like you just push it together and then slide it back into the notches?

I've tried everything to get it snapped back together and it won't stay and since its all tore apart I'm not able to drive it and my wife is about to go back to work and I need two vehicles

It looks as if the plastic is broke a little. It should have a little more for that nub to hook up into. Look at pic



I was thinking you might drill or poke a hole like in pic, push it all back tight and use a strong zip tie like in the pic below, might be just enough to get it back on the road

The nub is there just a little bent up but I'll still give it a try and see if it help thanks for the advice the good thing is my cowl will never have a chance to leak again lol

Well I got it I used a ratchet strap to pull together And keep in place then used a drill and short screws
