Default need help identifying part!!!!

hey guys. when i took my block to get machined i tore the whole thing down myself, but i left only one part on the block. its the piece tht the oil filter screws into i do believe. but when i asked the guy at the machine shop if he had it, he couldnt find it bc i didnt kno what the dang thing was called.. so now i gotta buy a new one but still idk what its called.. help!!

thanks!! ive been looking at how to put the oil screen onto the oil pump and ik they make a special tool but is there a way to do it without said tool?

on other pumps ive taken open eend wrench that fits over tube and rests on bumpand tapped the wrench with hammer gone rite down...

Everybody's got a wrech like that and my toolbox is over 5 feet tall. But, I can't find a mammer anywhere in that toolbox. LOL.

OP, are you re-using the old screen or did it come new with the pump?

ive got them in all sizes from 2mm to 1-11/16 in red...lol...14 hr work days starting to show in my spelling

They can be dangerous to use.

Often they are used in conjunction with a jammer but go bad often...

and i got a new pump and screen tht came with it. jus melling high volume one from autozone
