Default ne to forum breather probs

hi
new to forum.i have a problem with my 4l cherokee running on petrol no lpg.
there are a lot of fumes (oily) from breather pipes and they are not in the best condition and looks like oil cap as well, but engine is very responsive and sounds well starts good even at -10 deg,can smell oil fumes in cabin the jeep has done 150k miles. could it be blocked breather if so were should i find it

Welcome.

Is there oil residue on the top of the motor, around the valve cover area?

It could be crap burning off or something.

yest there is oil film around oil filler cap and damaged breather pipes

Sounds like your just leaking from the breathers and are burning it off.

Clean up all the mess, fix the leaks, and I bet it'll go away.

hi
and thanks for your help,i am disabled and cant do much work my self booked in to my local garage to check all breather pipes and a new winter thermostat as jeep runs cold.
is there anywhere in uk i can get a new set of breather pipes

Maybe a junkyard, but a stealership will probably be your best bet. I don't think you've got NAPA over there.
