Seek (or Search button) and ye shall find, young padowan. Could be any number of things, but a common cause is a bad neutral safety switch. Try wiggling the shift lever, or move it into gear and back to park. If you can then start the jeep, you have a faulty NSS.

If that doesn't work, post a few more details about your Jeep and we can try to sort this out.

 

If its an automatic, the NSS is a possibility. It should start in both park and neutral. Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key? And have you looked for any blown fuses?

 

it would be helpful to be more detailed about exactly what it does and does not do.

could be many things, starting with battery, terminals, earths

if there is no electrical power, I would check those things first

 

Find a wiring diagram for your year and submodel for starting, then start making your way from the battery forward.
