I noticed that when I jiggled the PDC it would start, then not. When it doesn't start I rake the box towards the passenger side turn the key and it fires. Guess I should figure out the problem...but now I know how to start it.

CS83 is the Borg Warner part number off my 92's ignition control module. Never used it either, I replaced all the fuses, relays, starter, battery, cables, etc, etc, etc.

Power Distribution Center. Guess maybe your on the right track, CPS seems to be a common theme. You might try unplugging and re plugging the connector first as it also is known to cause trouble.

Replacing the crank sensor may do the trick.
A failing crank sensor is the #1 cause of no spark on the Jeep 4.0 engine.
Let us know if this resolves it.
