theres a bunch of these threads on naxja, one in particular but couldnt find it.

But from what ive heard the 19lbs are more of an upgrade on renix engines since those injectors were not so good. They upgraded injectors with H.O. hence why you see more of a dramatic change on a renix.

Dont quote me, Bluexj should know hes a renix guru.

so would these fit?

They're also an upgrade over at least the first batch of HO injectors. 4 hole spray>1 hole spray. You get better fuel dispersion and thus a more efficient and powerful burn.

Oh i didnt know that. Makes sense then. So then what years wouldnt really benefit that much from spending $100 worth of injectors?

I *think* all years would benefit from the upgrade, as I *think* all XJs had single hole spray injectors and never got an upgrade to 4 hole spray.

You don't have to spend $100 on a set of injectors. If you really shop around you can get 8 like new Neon injectors for $40 or $50 on ebay. Neon injectors are a better upgrade than FMS 19lb/hour injectors but the FMS are easier and typically cheaper to come by than the Neon injectors. saving 1mpg and having paid $50 for a set of injectors they'll have paid for themselves in 7000miles

I posted the links from ebay seller selling the neon injectors.
Theyre between 94 and 97 with the 2.0. But which ones would fit my 88? Cuz they do look different

Are they the right injectors? there's a specific part number that goes with the injectors you need to get.

unless I'm mistaken(and somebody correct me here) the Renix Injectors are the same as the 1st Gen HO injectors except for the color on the injector. same fuel pressure and flow rating.

not sure about the HO4.0L but those are deffinately an ugrade for the Renix4.0L injectors that were a single port shrader style injector

as for being more exspensive than FMS injectors im guessing yours were used cause everyone ive talked to said they were qouted well over $100 per injector new so $131CDN for six isnt half bad for remand units, as for auto wrecker injectors i normally would for damn near any other part but id rather get set that i know is clean and working properly

ya i beleive 87-95 used the same style injector plug after that they changed so you will need an adapter if the plug is not correct

This is an ad from e-bay, just wondering what the EV-6 connector look like compared to the 4.0 connectors. Is there an adapter for this type of connector?

(Set of 8 24lb 24# low-mileage fuel injectors from 2008 Mustang GT. Have EV-6 connectors. Removed to install supercharger. Worked perfectly when removed. (I have had them in plastic bags for a few months now.))

Thats completely irrelevant for people who're gonna use FMS 19lb/hour or Neon injectors on a pre97 XJ. You don't need an AFP to run them. How do I know this? because I'm running FMS 19lb injectors on a stock FPR and no issues.
