Mine's the same. looks and smells more like motor oil. Not red by any means. The trans seems perfectly fine though, I have been pondering a fluid change for a while. Looks like I had better make it sooner rather than later.

 

Mines immobile at the Monet due to a head swap but I am planning on doing the filter and fluid service before I get her moving again
