Default Marvels mystery oil

Plan on adding this to my oil to see what all the hype is about. On the bottle it says to replace 1 qt of oil with 1 qt of MMO and run it until I change my oil again. Is this correct? It won't thin out my oil too bad to do this?

Waste of money. It's snake oil.
Just my opinion.

Not snake oil at all.
I's great for freeing up sticky lifters and does a decent job removing gum/varnish build-up.

Pint of MMO and the rest Rotella T6 full syn 5w40 and my 91 loves it. Does a good job too. Had lifter tick and added some MMO. 10 mins later, barely audible. After a week, couldn't hear any of it.

Do you have a specific problem you are hoping to address? If there's nothing for it to do....it won't do anything, lol. It's basically just a light oil with some solvent properties, good for mild cleaning, unsticking, ungumming. I wouldn't run a quart of it. Pint or so is enough.

Helps out if you put a pint in your fuel too, kinda washes the fuel system.

I've had noisy (sticky) lifters ever since I've owned my XJ. I've never been a supporter of cure-all in a bottle, but I added a pint of MMO before my yearly 1,000 mile hunting trip. After coming back last week I'm convinced that it freed up the lifters.

I changed my oil yesterday and added another pint...now if I could just find some Snake Oil for my low end knock.
