In the market for a transfer case.
Does anyone have or know were i can find a good used 231 transfer case that will fit a 95 , 6 cyl , auto. Or maybe a rebuild kit?

Doubtful...
I'm in the market for one (maybe...depends on if it's an adjustment issue or a T Case issue)...and in my research here..
231 is the Transfer Case.
Has the # of splines based on the year (21 or 23)...
However, the J in the end is for Jeep...and as someone mentioned here, the 'same' transfer case in a Chevy would end in C or Dodge in D...and the bolt up to the trans will probably be different.

i would just source a junkyard or a guy off craigslist that is selling a cherokee for parts. you are sure to find one for a few hundred bucks, and while it is out might as well put a SYE kit on it.
