Manual rear driveshaft question
So I’m almost finished with an axle swap on my xj from 3.08 to 3.55 gear ratio and have put in a Chrysler 8.25 in place of the Dana 35. My rear driveshaft it pretty ratty and I was going to get a new one however when I ordered one for the 8.25 axle the shaft was too short and the slip yoke end was a larger diameter than the output shaft on the np231 transfer case. Seems I need one that is the same length as the one built for the Dana 35 with the ujoint for a 8.25 while also made for the manual transmission. Either that or maybe it’s possible to just put a ujoint that fits the 8.25 on the old driveshaft and use that? Does anyone know where one of these can be purchased or who could custom make it if necessary? Having a hard time finding one that’s not for an auto trans. Thank you.

Where are you located?
Check around for a driveshaft shop.
