So to update and conclude this thread. Here is a list of problems that I found and corrected.

- Gray wire w/ red stripe from a relay in the interior had a 1-2 inch section of missing insulation.

- ignition power wire to radio missing insulation and short to ground.

-2 speaker wires with broken insulation shorting against themselves.

-Positive wire feeding vanity light for visor with cut insulation and short to ground causing fuse to blow for radio circuit.

-C101 connector filled with gunk.

-fuse box drenched in fluid from leaking Clutch Master Cylinder

- underhood lamp short to ground

-broken connector from fuse box shorting out various circuits.

I found a lot, but in the end, all of the wiring has been gone through, new loom and wrap for engine harness and rewrapped interior side too. Everything works as it should. Heck I even took the time to wire up the ambient temp sensor for my overhead console.

That's all good IF your bus bars haven't been overheated and ruined already like most of mine were.

Almost all my fuses wouldn't contact worth a crap unless I bent the hell out of the fuse pins and even then the connection was sketchy at best. It would get hot very fast and start melting.

My only solution was a whole replacement.

Holy hell that's a lot of wiring issues. Great work getting it all figured out though. Most guys would have been $2000 in just in shop fees by now.

You sir, are MUCH more dedicated to I on an issue like you had.

My rig, to me is a beater to beat on. I do the least amount of work to get things working properly and safely.

Hats off to you for your methodical and very clean repair / restoration of the harness!
