This might help you. It's a 5/8" bolt, not a 16mm BTW.

I wonder if this is the same issue I'm getting. After the Jeep has been warmed up, which isn't that warm, around 200. I'll let it idle and the oil pressure will hang around 15. I'm also getting this slight ticking noise. Like an egg timer or something. It's not loud enough to get on audio, but it's there.
The oil is clean, it's a little low, not by much though about an 1/8 maybe less, and the engine isn't getting hot. It's cold here, below freezing. There's a FRAM filter on it with the change date written in marker. Sometime in late November. I've read this could be due to a bad valve cover gasket, which probably could use a changing because it's got some seepage coming out of it. As well as the oil pan gasket... Though it's minor. And I know it's got 5 weight oil in it because everyone around here uses it during winter months. Thought I'd save everyone a knew topic and just ask here. Any thoughts?
Oh, it's a 98 XJ with 172k miles on it. If anyone needed to know.

And to the above comment, you could try putting in 10-30w like stock and see if that solves the tick. I'm no motor genious, but that's just a thought. Or try adding some additives in the oil such as risoline.

I went to the local O'Reilly and picked up a wix filter, along with some new oil and an oil filter o'ring adapter kit thing.
So now you can stop complaining. I just need to wait a week for my new oil pressure sending unit to come in and then I'll be set

Return that Help! kit right now ...... It only has 1 of the O-Rings you need ... I found this out the hard way ... at work during a snow storm after I took everything apart .... go to the dealership and get the right kit .... I got lucky the shop were I work keeps alot of O-Rings in stock and I managed to find the other 2 that worked.

Alright the dealer was on back order for the o rings and none of the auto parts stores had each specific one. I did a little search online and got them from Morris 4x4 but the shipping almost costs as much as the o rimgs themselves! :O oh well. I also ordered me some Brown Dog Offroad ultra flex rubber motor mounts! Can't wait for them to come!
