Default losing coolant

so its not a lot that its losing, just that i notice that the reservoir fluid is slowly going down, no radiator leaks, the jeep came with all rubber lined floor so i belive if the heater core was leaking i would then have a puddle on the passenger side floor, or i would see it when i go to defrost,
if it helps

Unexplained coolant loss is one indicator of a possible blown head gasket or cracked head.

Agree with the above that testing is necessary.

Cooling system pressure test and a compression test would be the place to start. Some leaks only occur when the engine is running and never leave much of a trail at first so that's why the cooling system pressure test is advised. If cooling system pressure is holding, then the compression test is absolutely the next test you need.

The compression spec for the 4.0 engine is 120-150 psi, with no more than a 30 psi variation between cylinders.

Good luck and post back what you find!

so the rad test came out ok, pressure in all 6 was low tho, so it looks like a motor rebuild will be next on the list....
