Longest shocks on a 2" lift?
I have some shocks designed for a 2" lift by rancho suspension. Is there any way to safely fit a longer shock on or somehow milk for more flex? I already have disconnects up front and removed the rear sway.

i run 10" travels in front with 2.5" lift, forget what i run in back.
disconnect the shocks and do some flexing and measure the extended and collapsed lengths from mounting point to mounting point. just make sure your brakelines are long enough

I'll work on this after I get my high-lift. It'll make the flexing a little easier to undertake.

if you wanna get real fancy, you can relocate the shock mounts to the top of the axle tube. i've seen people do that to get an extra inch or two.

Occam's razor: The simplest solution is usually the best. I'm going to see about buying some longer shocks when I get some monies in my pocket.

im running 8" 5150s out back with no issues. I dont see why you'd need a longer shock at 3" of lift.... unless your running coils or coilovers. Or doing JeepSpeed.
