I read that the coolant sensor is the one that dictates what the computer tells the engine how to operate .with everyone saying they changed this sensor that sensor and that to no avail.

When i start the xj in the morning i hear the pump hiss for a second then crankit about 6-7 seconds then it starts. I drive kids to school under no heavy load its ok maybe a slight hesitation not bad. When i turn xj off then start again no wait starts right up . When i let it sit for more than 5 minutes it doesnt start up right away 6-7 seconds when it starts bad idling cant even pull out of first gear. I need to feather the pedal until in cathes sort of.ive changed my plugs cap rotor cps fuel filter not done coolant temp.map,tps,02. Ive read everyone has done all those changes but not solved.going uphill it stutters pops same when i mash the pedal? Losing mind over it.

I'd be checking the fuel pressure before changing any more sensors.

i suspect when not under load meaning nuetral it can run all day without moving as soon as i drive woop woop stuttering miss hesitate call it watevers.i can sit nuetral a rev it up no miss?i know ishould test fuel pressure i did not yet i wont go get any sensors either so many sensors no change.what sensors measure the load to send more fuel air again? i was thinking change all sensors a it ok right.in the haynes manual its writtin when cahnging the sensors it does not cure the problem.wtf.?you can read that in the section thst shows codes.

Check the fuel pressure before proceeding. The demand for fuel is much greater under a load than when in neutral just revving.
