Good chance the material that has worn off your clutch is stuck to the CPS since it is magnetic. Sometimes you can get by with removing the CPS and cleaning the debris off the tip of it so it generates a stronger signal. Got a voltmeter? You can check CPS output.

Get a pressure gauge and check your psi at the fuel rail should be something like 31 psi or more if its low pull the pump and replace it

BG 44K is the absolute best. Most often found at higher end repair shops that deal in European cars. Ain't cheap, but worth it.

When accer8ing does the fuel pressure increase to accomadate demand . I had a yj that needed a fuel pump and that solved it. I dont have any codes flash so im leaning toward a fuel pump to solve all this hesitation issues.

Have you ever removed the ground strap that attaches to the firewall and scraped the paint off of the firewall, cleaned the eyelet and reinstalled it? They were a problem here in Arizona. I can only imagine what that cable looks like after living in Hawaii. I'd replace it with a #4 cable if it were me.
