what do you guys think? it would do it when i bought it couple times a week. i changed the oil now it does it like everytime i drive it, only when it is warm. its not all the time either seems to come and go

Lifter, try either Seafoam, or drain the oil out, put in one quart of Auto Matic Transmission Fluid then top it off with oil. Either your not getting oil up or its stuck, or its shot, you can just pull the valve cover and check the bowl of each rocker for oil.

I was wondering if it wasnt a lifter issue. if i drove it a hour to my shop and babied it it should be fine until i can tear into it....?

Your running a risk, I say just do the oil trick, drain it, add one quart of ATF then top it back off with the old oil. Drive it for a little bit.

You can go till your next oil change, but some people might say dont go the full 3k, so if you half way threw just go the other 1500. Dont use fresh oil on this one.
Seafoam works wonders too, but only do about 300 miles with seafoam in.

just reuse my oil i have in it now with 1 quart of atf should i put some seafoam in the oil too or is that to much mixing ? lol

I would just take the 15 min and pull off the valve cover and take a look. Wouldn't wast the time on oil tricks if it isn't needed. If it is just not getting oil to the head then it could be your filter. I only run mopar I had this issue with fram and k&n.

it had a fram on it when i bought it, but i put a purolator on it. ive heard good things about them
