1989 Cherokee Laredo. bought stock. in december, i purchased the Jeepcables daylight headlight harness kit. i had stock headlights at the time and it worked great. a week ago, i bought a set of Rough Country LED headlights and installed those. man are they bright, but damn are they loud. When the headlights are turned on from the headlight switch, my stock radio goes bananas with static. i read a few forums and decided some ferrite beads might do the trick, but no matter how many they didnt help. I contacted Rough Country and they said either the aftermarket harness is the problem, or my grounds are bad. what should my next steps be? thank you in advance.

Bypass the Jeepcables harness first. Plug the LEDs straight into the factory headlight plugs. If the static stops, the harness is the culprit. If not, the LEDs themselves are causing the interference and you'll need to install an inline noise filter on the headlight power wires.

Bump. I tried the harness, the static persists with and without the jeepcables harness. I have a cigarette lighter bluetooth adapter, and my bluetooth works pretty well besides a little bit of static, but all other stations not bluetooth are so bad you can’t hear anything. could it be something to do with the radio? a bad fuse? im so lost. I plan to do a carplay swap one of these months, maybe that will fix it?
Get rid of junk, blinding leds. Get a refund?
Buy hella housings and silverstar bulbs. Problem solved.
Most likely the drivers in the leds are causing the rfi and anything you do is just a bandaid.

this isn't rocket science. Things worked fine until you put in the LED headlights ( like the other Kool Kids) and now things don't work fine.
Not hard to figure out what's causing the problem...
