Well, I did change a lot of parts (spark plugs, wires, etc.).
But when in neutral, if I accelerate by moving fast the little throttle lever in the engine bay, there is a significant lag.
like if the engine was breathing too much air and couldn’t stand it.
after a second of acceleration, it is ok.
any advise to troubleshoot the problem ?
thanks

Fuel filter is 1 year old. As well as the fuel pump. The issue was already there before.
I ordered a fuel pressure gauge. But there is not the right adapter

Test the throttle position sensor (the flat connector, as I see you're got a 87 which would have a second output for the trans computer). If that's bad, the engine computer won't detect that you're snapping the throttle open and dump in extra fuel to compensate.
